AVIATION HEALTH

Health, Wellness, Self-Care & Safety

Aviation is an extremely physiologically demanding activity.    Pilots will tell you that amount of energy required to remain focused within the ever-changing, multi-tasking discipline of being a pilot can take a huge toll on the body.

The relationship forged with flight instructors during flight school is essential, however after school, there is no more important relationship that an aviator can have than with their Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).

Steel City Direct Care specializes in the health, wellness and self-care of pilots because we understand that there is more to aviation health and safety than a single, regular-interval flight physical.

Diet/nutrition, hydration, flight-recovery cycles, sleep dynamics, exercise and work-life balance all impact readiness and fitness for flight, and Steel City Direct Care believes in partnering with aviators to equip them with tools achieve personal health & wellness goals and to be optimally 'fit' for flight duties.
